Introducing Semgrow | An affordable SEO tool

Back in September, I was so frustrated with Ahrefs that I set out to build an alternative to Ahrefs that is affordable, AI-enabled, and user friendly. I am happy to announce that Semgrow is now live and we are taking the first step.

What has progressed since September?

1. I managed to put together a small team of 3 people to work on Semgrow.
2. A few people have requested beta access, and they are gaining access to the early set of tools.
3. The business model is now clear. We are going to start building small SEO tools to bootstrap our way to a full-fledged affordable Ahrefs alternative.

What are we releasing today?

Today, we're releasing the first version of Semgrow with a simple yet powerful tool: "Indexer"

Semgrow's Indexer is a simple tool that allows you to bulk index your URLs to Google for faster indexing. This is the first step towards building a larger Semgrow for you in the coming months.

What's next?

Once we roll out the Semgrow Mass Indexing Tool to all our users, we will start working on the next tool: "Spider". Spider allows you to look for 404 pages on your website, and use AI to suggest an alternative page that you can point it to. All this happens in a single click.

AI features in Semgrow

AI is embedded into the core of Semgrow so that it can learn about your website, and provide you with suggestions that are relevant to your website. The plan is to use AI to be your assistant in suggesting the right SEO strategy for your website, and for your goals (and yes, goal tracking dashboard is coming in as well).
